The centre is the main place to learn about the Risco Caído archaeological site. Its centrepiece is a life-size reproduction of cave 6, which works as a calendar: a beam of light enters through an opening and lights up a frieze of triangular engravings that marks the equinoxes and solstices.
Risco Caído is part of the Risco Caído and the Sacred Mountains of Gran Canaria Cultural Landscape, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2019.
