This is the house where Benito Pérez Galdós was born and where he lived until the age of 19: a traditional Triana house arranged around two courtyards. The Cabildo (island council) created the museum in 1954, and the writer's daughter opened it in 1960.

The tour introduces his life, his work and his legacy, and fits nicely into a stroll through Triana and Vegueta.
