AC Hotel Gran Canaria occupies a cylindrical tower you can spot from almost anywhere in the city, next to Santa Catalina park and very close to Las Canteras beach. It has a rooftop pool and a panoramic bar on the upper floors, with views over the city and the ocean. It makes a good base if you are combining work and beach, or if you are boarding or leaving a ship in the port, because the cruise quay and the Santa Catalina bus station are a few minutes' walk from the hotel.

Getting to AC Hotel Gran Canaria from the airport

The official address is Calle Eduardo Benot, 3-5, on one side of Santa Catalina park. The hotel states that its parking is outside the building, so arriving by taxi saves you circling an area with heavy traffic on cruise days.

How to arrange your transfer from LPA

  1. 1Message me on WhatsApp with the date, flight number, arrival time and how many of you there are. I'll confirm whether I'm available: airport pick-ups are limited, so it's best to book in advance.
  2. 2On the day of your flight I track the actual landing time. If the flight is delayed, I don't charge for the waiting caused by the delay; if you ask, I'll wait for you in arrivals with a sign with your name on it.
  3. 3We set off along the GC-1 towards Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and I drop you at the stopping point we've agreed. You pay on arrival by card, Bizum or cash.

Yes, the Santa Catalina quay is on the other side of the park. If you arrive by plane and board the next day, I can take you from the airport to the hotel; for the transfer to the ship, ask me separately.

How long does it take from the airport to AC Hotel Gran Canaria?

About 27 km and around 26 minutes without traffic, along the GC-1 and the Avenida Marítima. On days with several cruise ships in port the area gets busy, so allow a little longer.

How much is a taxi from Gran Canaria Airport?

I don't work with fixed prices: you pay what the official taximeter shows, plus any official supplements in force if they apply.
