Gran Canaria Airport (LPA) is outside the capital, about 25-30 km from the hotels of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. I'm Raquel, a taxi driver with licence LM-564: I pick you up at the terminal and drop you at your hotel, and I also take you back to the airport. Choose your hotel to see its area, its address and what arriving there is like, and message me to check availability.

Las Canteras and Santa Catalina

Hotel Cristina by Tigotan

Calle Gomera, 6, 35008 Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

Hotel Cristina by Tigotan is a five-star hotel right on the Las Canteras promenade, a short stroll from the shopping area and the Port. Its website presents it as a hotel for guests aged 16 and over, designed for a city stay by the sea: heated outdoor pool, restaurant and event rooms. For anyone arriving by plane it is one of the most sought-after addresses on the beach, because you can step out of the taxi and be on the sand in a couple of minutes, with no hire car and no parking space to hunt for during your stay.

Arriving from the airport

The Las Canteras promenade is pedestrian-only, so taxis don't arrive along the seafront: the hotel's official address is Calle Gomera, 6. When you book, I'll confirm with you the exact spot where the car can stop, so that you walk as little as possible with your luggage.

Bull Reina Isabel & Spa

Calle Alfredo L. Jones, 40, 35008 Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

Arriving from the airport

The official address is Calle Alfredo L. Jones, 40: the taxi arrives along that street, not along the promenade, which is pedestrian-only. The hotel reports limited on-site parking that cannot be reserved, so coming by taxi from the airport means you don't have to rely on finding a free space.
