What to expect in Moya
Los Tilos de Moya is a protected pocket of laurisilva, the ancient humid forest that once covered much of the Canary Islands. It is cool, green and quiet, with short paths among the trees.
In the village, the church stands right on the edge of a ravine, one of the most photogenic spots in the north. Moya is also the home town of the poet Tomás Morales, whose house is now a museum.
