The Gran Canaria Stadium (Estadio de Gran Canaria) is the home ground of UD Las Palmas and is in Siete Palmas, in the upper part of the capital, next to the Gran Canaria Arena and the Siete Palmas shopping centre. As well as football it hosts major concerts. From the airport there is no need to go down into the centre: you get there via the ring road, which avoids the Avenida Marítima. On match days traffic around the stadium multiplies and some streets are closed, so it is best to settle the drop-off point in advance.

The stadium is on Calle Fondos de Segura. On match or concert days it isn't always possible to stop by the gates: tell me your gate or stand and I'll drop you at the nearest accessible point, with time to get in without rushing.

How to arrange your transfer from LPA

  1. 1Message me on WhatsApp with the date, flight number, arrival time and how many of you there are. I'll confirm whether I'm available: airport pick-ups are limited, so it's best to book in advance.
  2. 2On the day of your flight I track the actual landing time. If the flight is delayed, I don't charge for the waiting caused by the delay; if you ask, I'll wait for you in arrivals with a sign with your name on it.
  3. 3We set off along the GC-1 towards Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and I drop you at the stopping point we've agreed. You pay on arrival by card, Bizum or cash.

I land on match day. Can you take me straight to the Gran Canaria Stadium?

Yes, if I'm available. It's about 25 km and about 27 minutes without traffic, but on match days you need to allow more. Tell me the kick-off time and your flight time.

Can you pick me up after the match to go to the airport?

It has to be arranged beforehand, with a pick-up point a little away from the stadium, because traffic is gridlocked when the match ends. Ask me, giving your flight time.

How much is a taxi from Gran Canaria Airport?

I don't work with fixed prices: you pay what the official taximeter shows, plus any official supplements in force if they apply. For reference, the estimate between the airport and the centre of Las Palmas is around €35. Message me with your destination and I'll give you the estimate for your journey.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

With your flight number I track the actual arrival time and adjust the pick-up. I don't charge for waiting caused by the flight delay.

Will all my luggage fit? Do you have a child seat?

The Renault Arkana has a 513 L boot and I don't charge a luggage supplement. If you're travelling with large items or need a child seat, tell me when you book and I'll confirm whether it's possible before anything is finalised.
